This paper presents the findings of a study on teachers' questions and students' feedback in the Intensive Reading class taken by junior English majors of China University of Geosciences (Beijing) through classroom discourse recording and interviewing students. Qualitative and quantitative analyses were used to study the types of questions asked by the teacher in the Intensive Reading class, students' feedback to different types of questions and these questions' influence on students' English language output. Based on the study, some suggestions are proposed in this paper.
