Soliciting manuscripts on promoting the classification and evaluation mechanism of talents in universities
In February 2018, the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the General Office of the State Council issued the Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Reform of the Talent Evaluation Mechanism by Classification, which pointed out that the current talent evaluation mechanism in China has prominent problems such as insufficient classified evaluation, single evaluation criteria, convergence of evaluation means, low degree of socialization of evaluation, and insufficient implementation of the autonomy of employers, which need to be resolved through deepening reform. Establishing a scientific classification guidance, classification management, and classification evaluation system is one of the most concerned topics for university faculty and staff. At this year's Two Sessions, representatives of the National People's Congress and members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference responded warmly to this. This magazine is sending a letter of invitation to faculty and staff who have been paying attention to higher education reform.
